Founded by acquisition and operating veterans Pat McCamley and Chaitu Parikh, Valantor is assembling a portfolio of AI companies that solve mission-critical business problems where accuracy, trust, and domain knowledge matter.
EyeLevel.AI was the initial AI technology company acquired with its flagship platform, GroundX, the industry’s most advanced AI visual intelligence systems. Founded by enterprise AI veterans and developed through UC Berkeley’s SkyDeck accelerator, EyeLevel spent more than five years building technology capable of understanding and reasoning over visually complex enterprise information. Its founders spent a decade creating AI for millions of global users: designing quantum computing chips at IBM Research, building consumer AI at IBM Watson, and engineering the conversational forecasting platform that served two million people a day at The Weather Channel.
In 2019, the EyeLevel team saw the dawn of large language models and became developer #20 working with OpenAI. It became clear that enterprises would need a trusted layer between their private data and foundation models to build AI they could rely on. That conviction is the foundation of everything Valantor does.
